Following on from the Thames Path Together Community Art Project 2017 where we yarn-bombed Whitchurch Bridge; we are very excited about the Equinox Together 2018 Community Art Project which will be installed on Pangbourne Meadow in September. The theme of Equinox Together 2018 is the seasons; the idea is to create a spiral of totem poles consisting of hollow pottery cylinders threaded onto posts like the ones bottom left.
How do I join in?
It would be great to have you join us by making and decorating a pottery cylinder. We’ve put together a series of not-for-profit workshops where you can come along and make a cylinder.
For £20/person we will provide the tuition, materials and equipment to make and decorate a cylinder – then we take it away to get it fired – all you need to bring is an apron!
How do I book a place?
Choose a workshop date and get in touch via email to book your place. Don’t worry if you can’t make any of the days featured; we will be running more workshops so please contact us and we’ll see what we can do.
